Plenty of Fish POF is a dating site. I would say this is similar to a paid dating service. There are detailed profiles to fill out along with spaces to tell about yourself and what your ideal first date would be. You can fill out additional chemistry profiles and get daily reports on chemistry and standard profile matches.
The benefit to this over Tinder is that you get more detail about your match and you don’t have to wait for you and that person to swipe a certain direction in order to begin a conversation. Anybody can message anybody and all profiles are visible. If you respond to as many people send you messages you will get bumped up onto a “Will respond” list for additional traffic in your area.
There is an application that you can manage your profile from and chat with other users but the application is buggy at best. You spend time closing pages within the application and getting lost in inception backing out of menus looking at profiles to get back to the chat thread you missed 15 minutes ago.
